You are set apart for a purpose…and this means you are called to be significantly DIFFERENT.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9 AMPC
God’s call is an invitation and the anointing is what marks us in that calling is how it separates us from the rest of the world.
Being set apart simply means rejecting what the world offers in order to walk in the fullness of what God has for us here on earth. It means yielding to the fruit of the spirit like love, gentleness, peace and kindness. It means forgiving those who offend you. It means walking worthy of the calling by leading a life that exemplifies Christ.
I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3 ESV
People will see the glory of God in your life because you will be notably different, unique, radical, and determined. It will be evident that you have been reserved for a special work and that you are prepared to do what’s necessary to walk in your calling. Make the decision today to consecrate your life and walk in your purpose.
You have been set apart as holy to the Lord your God, and he has chosen you from all the nations of the earth to be his own special treasure. Deuteronomy 14:2 NLT
