The heart-faith connection

How’s your heart today?

Whether you’d like to accept it or not, your faith is directly impacted by the condition of your heart.

A heart weighed down with worry, offense, hurt, bitterness, fear, lust, selfish ambition, guilt, unbelief, etc. will not be able to produce the best results.

And the one on whom seed was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the worries and distractions of the world and the deceitfulness [the superficial pleasures and delight] of riches choke the word, and it yields no fruit. Matthew 13:22 AMP

There are blockages that can prevent you from having an effective faith and all of it goes back to your heart. That’s why the Bible tells us to above all else guard our hearts. Everything in life streams from the heart and a heart can only produce what’s inside of it.

The [intrinsically] good man produces what is good and honorable and moral out of the good treasure [stored] in his heart; and the [intrinsically] evil man produces what is wicked and depraved out of the evil [in his heart]; for his mouth speaks from the overflow of his heart. Luke 6:45 AMP

Fill your heart with God’s word and watch as every contamination from the world gets cleaned out. Do everything you can to keep your heart free from offense, fear, lust, pride, gossip, and everything else that could pollute it.

Remember that faith works by love and love can only flow forth from a heart that’s received and accepted God’s love.

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Galatians 5:6 KJV

Let the Lord heal any brokenness that you’ve experienced through the seasons of life. His yoke is easy and his burden is light. He wants your heart to be completely free and able to move forward in faith TODAY.

NOW is the best time for faith to work, so work on your heart-faith connection. It's time to let go of the things that are affecting, hurting or weighing down your heart. ❤️‍🩹
