Trust in the Lord's methods

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV

Trust is a key component to walking by faith. And following God’s way of doing things doesn’t always make sense to the natural mind.

We live in a world where 2 + 2 = 4. But we’re part of a Kingdom where 2 + 2 somehow ends up being 753.8. (It’s just an illustration so you get the point 😅)

Give and it shall be given back to you… Luke 6:38

Forgive so that your Father in heaven can forgive you… Matthew 6:14

Stand up boldly for righteousness and abhor what is evil… Romans 12:9

Bless your enemies and pray for those who despitefully use you… Matthew 5:44

Walk by faith, not by sight… 2 Corinthians 5:7

Believe and therefore receive… Mark 11:24

Be still and know that He is God... Psalm 46:10

All of this requires trust because it’s not what the world or our human natures leans toward. But His methods produce MUCH BETTER results.

God’s ways are so simple, yet we try everything we can to complicate them. It doesn’t have to be that hard, but it definitely won’t be logical to a carnal mind.

Consult the Lord today and ask what your next step is. Don’t rely on what you think you know, go to his Word and hear from him personally.

And even when you don’t have answers…trust the Lord's methods when he speaks to you. Know that He will show you the way and that his plan for you is GOOD.
