Refine your focus

To be able to fulfill the vision that God has for you, you need one thing: FOCUS.

The Bible tells us in Hebrews 12:2 to keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. This is ultimately what will keep our focus on what matters and set us on a straight path instead of getting tripped up by distractions or hindrances.

We are also told in Habakkuk 2:2 to write the vision. This vision is for an appointed time and God will prepare us along the way to better understand what He sees for our life. This gives us great joy in the journey of discovery and also a responsibility to stay FOCUSED.

As we follow God's call and plan for us, we need to take an inventory on our criteria as well as our fruit. We need to identify and deal with hindrances, distractions, temptations, or obstacles. And finally, we need to give ourselves permission to grow and make the necessary changes as we step into the NEW THING that God is doing in and through us.

If you want to keep your FOCUS...keep your eyes on what matters, learn along the way, and pivot when needed. One tiny adjustment can make the world of difference in YOUR VISION. God's vision is clear, it makes sense, and all we need to do is refine our FOCUS to perceive it.
