God mandates us to be faithful with and to multiply the talents that we have been given.
So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ Matthew 25:20-21 NKJV
Our gifts, talents, abilities, and character along with the anointing are what open doors for us to grow, to develop those gifts even further, and to multiply them.
The anointing is what sustains us, it’s what goes before us, and it’s what unlocks the gifts that God has placed on the inside of us. But we need to do our part and work with God to multiply what He has entrusted us with.
He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Luke 16:10 NKJV
The anointing or the grace of God, is what makes a way for us to walk in our calling and to multiply what we’ve been given so that one day we will hear the words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
“A person’s gift makes room for him And brings him before great people.” Proverbs 18:16 NASB
