The anointing will have you to walk alongside others in their process or even in their calling. You won't only walk beside them, you'll be compelled to go the extra mile with them.
And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. Matthew 5:41 NKJV
Going the extra mile means putting forth the effort to accompany someone else in their journey.
It means being there without having all the answers or being able to fix their problems for them.
There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24 NLT
It means spending time fasting and praying as you stand in the gap for their breakthrough.
It means being patient when they fall and extending your hand so they can get back up again.
Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NKJV
It means being a friend, keeping your heart open, having ears to listen, and offering words that bring healing.
There are those who speak rashly, like the piercing of a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Proverbs 12:18 AMPC
Going the extra mile can be difficult…but the anointing will carry you through and it will bear much fruit for the glory of God!
