The anointing or the manifest power of God is already within us as believers, but it is manifested through times of surrender. It should be what comes out during times of pressing, squeezing, and facing challenges.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. 2 Corinthians 4:17 KJV
Surrender means trusting enough to hand our lives over to Christ, who lives in us.
Surrender isn’t giving up control of our lives, instead, it’s giving God the ability to lead us through life. Surrender means including Him in our decisions every single day and letting Him take us through the processes necessary to fulfill our purpose.
As we yield ourselves to God and to His will, we encounter Him in a greater way and understand what surrender really means.
In these times and places of surrender, the anointing is produced in and through our lives. The greater the level of surrender, the greater the anointing can flow through us and as a result, impact those around us.
I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20 AMP
